Casting
As a casting director, Karissa uses her to work to champion underrepresented and marginalized voices in our society. She was the resident casting director for Strawdog Theatre Company for six seasons and also works as freelance casting director in Chicago. She currently casts for Bramble Theatre Company.
Karissa was featured in American Theatre Magazine’s Role Call (December 2020) for her casting work and advocacy.
